Cimi was a notable anti-Magick divinity of Imperian, an Ancient Spirit that has been unable to manifest in the mortal realms for many years. Like all divinities, Cimi has been permanently lost to mortalkind with the dawn of the Age of Mortality.

Cimi, the Hidden Hand

Cimi is an ancient Spirit, worshipped by tribes for eons until the first steps were taken to modern civilization. Over time, as the Gods made Themselves known to mortalkind, the Ancient Spirits were mostly forgotten. Little more than tales passed on from wise woman to wise woman, their power waned.

As the numbers who practiced the old ways decreased, so did the Ancient's powers. Some did not survive the Time of Trial, as the era of their waning became known to them. The Hidden Hand is one of those few to survive. Those who cling to the traditions have managed to keep Her from fading entirely, and as the wise women told their tales, the younger generations gained in respect and Cimi grew stronger. Able to manifest Herself on the material realm once again, She sought to regain Her place among Those who watch over mortal kind.

It is said that She is drawn to the energies created by happenings in the lands, bringing signs and omens of blessing and good fortune where She may and to whom She finds worthy. An onyx hand reaching for a sapphire lark has become a symbol nearly synonymous with those who dedicate their lives to following Her teachings.

Order

From the time Her return, the Ancient Spirit set about gathering the Twelve who would become Her voice amongst the people, reading the signs and omens found within their incense-filled rituals to discern Her wisdom. First among her followers was the High Mother Pah'ele, who dwelled at one time within the Temple of Cimi.

Symbols

Each of the Twelve bore a special censer in which they could light various sticks of incense to facilitate rites and communication with the Ancient One. Each was distinct:

A silver censer

The surface of this sphere-like censer holds a high gloss, and is smooth to the
touch. It has been crafted of a silver metal, and symbols have been punched
through its surface, allowing incense to pour forth from the designs. A little
round door with matching knob allows one to place incense within.
