From the charter of the Sect of Storms:
The roll of thunder reaches out, foretelling the coming of much to those who would listen and watch for the signs carried on the winds. Those same winds bring with them the flashing reach of lightning, its sharp tines spreading wide, delving the darkest corners of the world. And whether it be by coolness of rain, freezing touch of snow, or harshness of sand, there is little that can withstand the cleansing power that the storms bring. The land can be just as easily rejuvenated by the storm as it can be torn asunder, this duality lending credence to the storm as a thing of reverence and awe. In the storm, the cult's following sees many things: knowledge, supreme power, authority, and even a fleeting glimpse of what might come to pass.
The Stormtouched see the opportunity for wisdom in the rumble of thunder, and a chance at glory in the blinding flash of lightning. However, whether it be solitary reflection or blazing glory and bloodshed, there is one truth that each of those who have felt the storms call to them: Aetherius possesses vast lands full of experiences meant to be enjoyed and sights to behold, and each of the Stormtouched knows that they were born to go wherever the winds take them.
