Landmarks

A decrepit shack

  • a living doll - Whoever served as the model for this small doll must have suffered excruciating pain. Dozens of small needles pierce its arms, legs and other crucial bodyparts. Whatever cloth was used to form the doll's head has been burned black, and yet retained its shape. Its eyes are nothing more than two red buttons, and yet you can feel the hatred carried by their gaze. Despite the damage that has been afflicted upon it, this tiny doll appears to be in fairly good shape. A living doll is not one to be trifled with. It weighs 8 ounces.
  • Malayah, a vengeful spirit - The spirit of this fallen Wytch floats several feet above the ground. Its form is an ethereal shadow with no distinguishing features and its head is little more than a round shape without mouth or hair or ears, but its eyes, two orbs of bright, red flames stare at you with obvious hatred. The spirit is covered with a thin, billowing robe of translucent darkness which seems to be in constant movement. The intolerable cold of the grave seems to emanate from its very core. Malayah, a vengeful spirit is quite powerful.

Notable Denizens

  • a petite sidhe Shaman named Alere - This Sidhe woman is very small and petite, even for one of her race. Standing at no higher than four feet in height, her figure is very slender and shapeless. She works with 'the Academy' to research new mixtures of herbs and elements, hoping to create new concoctions.
  • a quiet fisherman - A slender male sylayan fisherman.

Flora and Fauna

  • a timber rattlesnake - This thick snake measures about four and a half feet in length. Its rugged scales are colored with markings of yellow and brown with black cross bands. Venomous fangs are revealed whenever this creature is threatened--the sound of its rattle audibly warning would-be aggressors. A timber rattlesnake does not look particularly dangerous. It weighs about 2 pounds.
  • a wild grouse - Drab brown feathers coat much of the body of this wild grouse, though specks of yellow dance about its eyes, and its wings are tipped in grey. Its legs and claws are black. A small fan of tail feathers extend from its rear. A wild grouse is quite powerful. It weighs about 6 pounds.
  • a chubby red chipmunk - This small rodent is a little chubbier than your normal chipmunk, its tiny belly bulging slightly around his middle. Its small body is covered with a thick layer of red fur, with two strips of black down its back. Its small beady eyes peer out curiously at the world around it, and its taunt ears are raised slightly upon its head. A chubby red chipmunk is a humble-looking creature. It weighs 8 ounces.
  • a tiny green frog - Appearing to be no longer than an inch in length, the details on this tiny frog can barely be seen. This miniature form is covered in a thin covering of green skin, with several small speckles of brown splattered within it. It's two large eyes rest on either side of his head, their bright yellow pupils gazing around the area. When it croaks, its tiny neck expands, making the frog appear much wider than it usually is. A tiny green frog looks relatively helpless. It weighs 10 ounces.
  • a massive brown moose - The flattened antlers of this moose indicate it's gender as male, as they rest upon its large head. The large flap of skin beneath its muzzles hangs down to form the bell of this moose, and two large and beady eyes sit sunken on either side of its head. The entirety of its body is covered in a thick layer of brown fur, ensuring warmth during the cool months. Its strong and nimble legs support its large body, the bottom of each forming a thick hoof. A massive brown moose is quite powerful. It weighs about 450 pounds.
  • a lithe black fox - This fox is covered in a thick coat of deep midnight black fur. From the tip of it's long and stringy tail down to its muscular paws, this fox is lithe and dark. Two small eyes peer out from its narrow head, and several large teeth can be seen from within its large mouth. A lithe black fox appears to lack strength. It weighs about 15 pounds.
  • a chittering wood mouse - Its tiny body covered in dark brown fur, this small wood mouse appears to only be several inches in length. Coarse grey fur covers the back of its body while his underside is a dull shade of white. Two small beady eyes protrude from either side of his face, and large ears and a long tail complete this small chittering rodent. A chittering wood mouse looks weak and feeble. It weighs 10 ounces.

Flora and Fauna

  • an ochre peregrine falcon - Ochre and umber feathers grace the wings of this large falcon. Its beak and legs are black, and large talons are upon the clawed feet. Its eyes are black orbs with a predatory glint. An ochre peregrine falcon is not one to be trifled with. It weighs about 18 pounds.
  • a mule deer - A muted brown fur coat covers much of the agile body of this mule deer. Her ears easily shift and move to listen to nearby sounds, and her eyes are glossy black and rimmed in long lashes. A mule deer seems strong and confident. It weighs about 150 pounds.
