From a scroll describing the realm of Lianthe, Goddess of the Waters:
From the trickle of the smallest stream to the roar of the greatest ocean, Lianthe can be seen. As Goddess of the Water, She controls every liquid body of Aetherius, though is rarely, if ever, viewed by Mortal eyes.
Most commonly known as the Tempest, Lianthe's wrath is as strong as the deadliest hurricanes. To betray Her is to betray a necessary part of life, and as She controls the waters to do Her bidding, She does not hesitate to take Her bounty from those who abuse it, or simply from those She feels are not worthy. Only Her true followers feel the most subtle side of Her ways, and foes are met with the anger and rage of the murderous seas.
Her symbols vary with Her moods, though it is heard that She holds most precious the water lily and the lapis lazuli.
A memorial can be found to her under the waters of the Eucrates RIver.
History
