In the midst of the searing sea of sand, a small group of desert-dwellers stopped their wandering and settled beneath a solitary stand of date palms. This group came to call themselves "Anir" which can be translated by some as "Lonely" or "Left There".
However, having the strong roots grown in the soil surviving the oppression of Stavenn and the refreshing rain of endearing themselves to the numerous tribes of the desert, the little village of Anhir still thrives north of Antioch.
Although it seems a quiet and safe enough township, there seems to always be some adventure or controversy waiting at its gates. Some say that great spirits of harm and grace fight in the Spirit Skies above the village, ever-engaged in a violent struggle to hold sway over the souls of Anhir.
