A follower of the [[Nemesis|Red Maiden]], '''Birk Bonecaster''' introduced the inhabitants of [[Ithaqua]] to the ritualistic act of cannibalism and was thereby responsible for allowing the villagers to survive in the cold, desolate forests they called home.
A statue of Birk can be found in Unseelie Court in the council of Ithaqua, and is described as such: ''Crafted from fine silver, this statue of a sylayan man stands nearly eight feet in height. His well-built form is hidden beneath layers of leather and furs, keeping him warm and safe from the frigid air of the north. Barely visible at the base of his neck, leading down to his arm, is a marking from the Red Wolf, showing his status within Her ranks. His face is scarred, as if a great beast swiped at it with its sharpen claws, leaving one of his eyes blinded and cloudy, while the other is placed with a sapphire. His hair is covered in a mess of hair, a few strands falling over his features. Grasped in his right hand is a fine sword, while a bow rests upon his shoulder, along with a full quiver of feathered arrows. His feet are clad in fine boots layered with fur, allowing him to walk through the snow with ease.
