Decades ago, when the Sylayan of the Lalwan Eryn explored the forest of Khandava, some chose to remain. While their roots began within the Arboreals, the people of Mylani found their life more suited to that of a hunter and over time became more attuned to the fauna of the Wilds. During the demon incursions, they decided they had no need of the troubles of the world and called upon the very Wilds to seal them within their home. Any efforts to enter the village were met with the force of the Wilds, the trees literally closing around it.
Mylani has become a self-sustaining village and is a lesson in living off the lands. Its inhabitants have retained much of their own style of living, even in the face of the modern age, and offer anyone the generosity and comforts of their enchanted home.

The indicative redwoods of Khandava continue to be widespread in Mylani. Woodland creatures, such as long-tailed wood mice and wild rabbits, frolic across the towne.
