The black Nolmine mountains are a volcanic, albeit mainly dormant, range of tall, jagged peaks, lying in the east-central part of the continent. To the north is the [[Western Celidon]], while to the southwest, the Ravana hills gently fall away, eventually giving way to the [[Shaahri desert]].  It is rumoured that the southern road from [[Caanae]] has a secret path leading into them.

The Nolmine are known to be populated by Dwarf-hating orcs, who drove out the clan of Dwarven miners who previously dwelled there. The Dwarves scattered, and had to bury the symbol of their clan: a great, jeweled axe, in their flight from the orcish hordes. The Nolmine are also famous for the purity of its ores, and many blacksmiths around the land would reward you for the ores found there.

The Aesaed Keep is within the mountains.
