In the month of Tenebrae in 405 AD, leaders of the Noctusari - including the Singularity, Sarentha, Melantha, Kabal, Lidara, Martyn, and Rauglaer - gathered in the Ravana Hills to conduct an arcane ritual to steal death magick from the guilds of Stavenn. They were ambushed by a group of Stavenn-allied adventurers, including the ex-Imperator Aakrin, Yosho, Malith, and Appolyon. Martyn was able to escape, and fled to seek help from Berodach, the Eldest Noctusari and guild tutor.
