The Western Nolmine Mountains are a volcanic, albeit mainly dormant, range of tall, jagged peaks, lying in the east-central part of the continent. To the north is the Western Celidon, while to the southwest, the Ravana Hills gently fall away, eventually giving way to the Shaahri Desert. It is rumoured that the southern road from Caanae has a secret path leading into them.

The mountains are known to be populated by dwarf-hating orcs, who drove out the clan of dwarven miners who previously dwelled there.

Erienne, the soothsayer

Erienne is a lithe, beautiful figure of a sidhe, and her immaculate white robes do nothing to mute her figure. The extended life-span of her race means that whilst she appears to be no more than twenty, it would be hard to say exactly how old she truly is. Her skin is delicate as alabaster, and her piercing grey eyes seem to sparkle with an inner light.

In the year 403 AD, after the collision of the moons Sukdher and Moradeim, moon shards fell to the ground throughout Imperian. Tyther, an astrologer asked adventurers to collect the shards so that he could open a magical gate, but Erienne had her own plans for the shards and requested them from adventurers as well. Her plan was to use the shards to create a fantastic horn that would allow people to carry on conversations over great distances, but she was mocked and threatened by citizens of Antioch for this, and gave up the idea. Later, she was assaulted by demonic forces who were responsible for possessing Tyther and forcing him to open a gate that would allow a demon to pass over into this world.
