The Core of the World, often referred to as the Heart of the World or the World Core, is found deep within the Magma Vents under Yhumara Lake. As its name suggests, it is vital to the continued balance of Creation, and was created by Avasyu in the earliest days of Imperian and was nurtured just like the first flicker of flame in a blazing inferno. The core allows Diachaim to flow throughout the world, and thus was a factor in the Awakening. Adventurers who harnessed the power of the Divine, such as Clerics and the Templar, were actually drawing strength from the Core, and the Gods of Imperian were strengthened by the Core in a similar fashion.
