Founded 150 years after the city of Kaark'Krazul, the dwarven towne of Pol'Pera was built within the hidden recesses of a volcano located in the Eastern Nolmines and was designed to be a reserve outpost and retreat point in case Kaark'Kazul was ever overrun by the forces of the Horde.
Shortly after the construction of Pol'Pera began, the dwarves discovered that an ironic twist of fate had caused the Horde to scout out the same area and begin the construction of their own outposts, forcing the role of Pol'Pera to change from being a reserve post to a war-ready towne.
