Sect of the Leechwood

From the charter of the Sect of the Leechwood:

Rising from the roots of the great Leechtree itself, the Cult of the Leechwood is dedicated to the continuation of the ideals of its grim consciousness. Though many of the goals of the organization are shrouded in necessary secrecy one thing is certain - the blight taken hold in Al'Drym and Khandava will spread.

The machinations of the Cult of the Leechwood are many-fold. We are the tendrils of shadow within the Al'Drym mists: those who sow the seeds of desecration into the heartwood to see it consumed, their motives shrouded in the creeping darkness. We are the fires set to scour the wood, culling that which is weak to prune the impure from the vine and begin anew, arisen from the ash and loam. Those of the Leechtree are tempered in fire, and quenched in the shadow beneath the tree's unrelenting limbs, their will moving throughout the lands as a wolf amidst the unsuspecting flock.

We are the cold, calculating predators amidst the branches, the warriors at the feet of the towering roots of the world. We are the subtle hand, slipping tight the noose. Through Our hands the fires that bring forth the New World are stoked, tempered, honed.

We will wrap the Redwoods in black metal, and the forests' wrath will light the night.
