From a scroll describing the realm of Eloweth, Lady of the Arcane:
Very few records expound on the Goddess Eloweth, none of which are dated before the Awakening. What is known of Her, however, speaks of a benevolent, guiding hand overshadowing the inner workings of magick, of particularly noticeable effect during the Awakening itself.
While Eloweth does not claim magick as Her own, it is quite obvious She maintains a close affiliation with it, and watches over those whose interest is piqued by the enigmatic powers associated with its cultivation and use.
Eloweth harbors no fondness for those who study the daemonic arts, stating simply that the tainted powers released through such efforts are an entirely negative catalyst to the fabric of Aetherius, and the volatile aspects therein should not be molded and utilized by mortal hands.
In recent times, Eloweth's influences have been represented by three conjoined moons, a symbol of the blessing of magick which was released upon Aetherius.
History
In the year 678 AD, the Demon God Nytid destroyed Eloweth's temple in the Lost Forest. The Nexus was exposed, and Anathema, a longtime rival of the Lady Arcane, took this opportunity to taint the energy of the Nexus. Nytid then revealed to all of Aetherius that Eloweth had always been linked to the Nexus and may have been more responsible for the Breaking of the Moons and the Awakening than had previously been known. This shook Eloweth, but when Nytid offered to reverse the effects of what Anathema had done, the Lady Arcane refused to give in to the demands.
