War of Avarice

The War of Avarice marked the end of the First Age. Relations between Caanae and Stavenn had been icy, at best, in the years following the Generation War, but conflict came to a head after scholars from Stavenn were sent into Caanae to steal mathematical formulas used by Czezlo Tota to build a massive siege machine. War was formally declared in the year 850 AH and lasted seven years, with both sides claiming victory amid dwindling supplies.
