Canus Veridi lived at the beginning of the Third Age and was instrumental in founding the Council of Celidon. In the year 106 AD, a fountain with powerful healing properties was discovered within the caverns of Phoenix's Crest and soon attracted the attention of all of Aetherius. When enemies of Nature began to abuse the fountain's waters, Celidon's leaders asked Veridi to help seal it away from all but the protectors of Nature, but the ritual drained too much of Veridi's power, and he died before the end of the year. The cavern was successfully sealed away, however, and would not open again until the year 406 AD, when a group of miners discovered an ancient journal that described those early days in Celidon and led modern-day councilors to rediscover Nature's Resurgence.
