Galvanism is one of the basic defensive skills. It represents the body's resistance to damage by electricity. It might, for example, reduce the damage you'd take from an Arboreals's lightning strike, or a monk's Kai energy.
Transcendent galvanism offers the skill of GROUNDING [OFF], which will nullify the next electrical attack which strikes you at the cost of a moderate mana drain.
