In the 156th year of the Age of Mortality a new guild emerged after the consolidation of the last of Antioch's former guilds. Tasked with reinvigorating the teachings of Anti-Magick and reinforcing the beliefs of Antioch as the guardians of fire and faith, a woman by the name of Laeka Ashtear formed The Axioun. Taking the very best aspects of the guilds of old, the Axioun are a blending of martial might, exploration adventuring and studious faith.

Within the guild are four cadres, each dedicated to specific tasks to ensure the might and future of Anti-Magick in Aetherius. The Wardancer Cadre serves as Antioch's army, ready to march on our enemies at any moment. The Templar Cadre serves as Antioch's defensive line, each member ready and willing to lay down their lives to protect Antioch and its citizens from the onslaught of arcane and demonic Magicks. The Dunestrider Cadre is tasked with exploration and serves as our worldly travellers and hunters. Learning of new places, and how to defeat any foes that might be met within the wilds. The Cleric Cadre serves as the scholars and purveyors of faith for Antioch and for Anti-Magick. It is with their words that they serve to spread the truth of Anti-Magick to all who will listen.

Together the four cadres make up the Axioun, the Guardians of Truth. All Axioun follow a strict code, passed down from the guardians of old, holding themselves to lofty ideals: justice for the victimized, protection for the innocent, alms for the needy, and gentility in the face of the crass vulgarity of the tainted practitioners of Magick and demonology. Knights Axioun must keep their bodies pure and mighty in order to combat the forces that threaten Antioch, and their faith must remain strong in order to bind the wicked and bring sinners to justice.

Any who profess themselves pillars of Anti-Magick, and swear to uphold the code of the Axioun may seek admittance to the guild, and may be of any profession allowed within the Anti-Magick circle.
