Areish Mountains

The Areish Mountains are located on the west side of Aetherius. They run southward for a great distance, and then turn west, running until it hits the ocean. The Areish are an extremely treacherous place, by virtue of the aggressive animals and people that inhabit it. Many a person has fallen victim to the mountain lions that roam it seeking their dinners.

Perhaps the most striking feature of the vast Areish are the Pillars of Heaven. This collection of mountain peaks in the western-central portion of the Areish rises as much as fifty percent higher than any peak outside of them.

The mountains are the current home of the altar of the Sect of Conquest.
