A demon named Rishi attempted to lift the Stele from the desert temple to a more prominent place atop [[Demon's Pass]]. This attracted the attention of a wizard named [[Silantor]], who desired the power of the Stele - the power to raise the walking dead. Silantor bravely fought with the demon master but was quickly dispatched, but with his dying breath, he whispered a curse and touched the base of the Stele, transforming into a [[Lich]]. As the undead began to rise up around the adventurers gathered there, they soon found themselves fighting for their lives. At last, Aleutia, the hero who had so recently been known for wielding the Hammer of the Gods, defeated the Lich Lord with the aid of her allies. | |||
