''All living things offer prayers to the Lady Nemesis from time to time. But to truly follow Her one must burn and burn within one's heart. The fire that is Rage can burn hot or cold, like the Lady Herself. Her followers may be warlike savages, who sweep across their enemies like an inferno, bent on slaughtering all. They may be cold and cruel killers, whose anger is like a glacier, slow and cold and crushing all before it. She demands only that Her followers do as She commands, at once, without question. There is no sterner mistress than Wrath. She can be capricious, and to anger Her is to truly feel aflame.''</blockquote>

From a scroll describing the realm of Nemesis, the Red Maiden, Goddess of Wrath:

She is the Flame that Consumes and Dies Not. She is the Scything Whirlwind. She is The Red Maiden. She is Wrath.

Nemesis is the embodiment of all that is violent. She is the murderous rage in all life, be it the noble who wishes death on the slayer of innocents, or the sinister person who rails at the weak and needy. From each of these does She draw Her power, and each of them owe Her homage.

All living things offer prayers to the Lady Nemesis from time to time. She can be capricious, and to anger Her is to truly feel aflame.

History

The earliest known followers of Nemesis were the Noctusari, led in part by Ayasha and Galen Gazali in the year 155 AA.
