The Council of Khandava was created deep in the heart of the forest for which | |||
it is named upon the emergence of the mortal races. The titanic redwood trees | |||
of the Khandava have intertwined into a secluded portion of the forest to | |||
create the perfect home among their roots for nature dwellers. The small tribe | |||
of people that stumbled upon this rich land began as simple farmers, until they | |||
expanded to occupy all niches of the grand redwood circle. Those who pledge | |||
their life and loyalty to Nature founded this community that originally was the | |||
sole home of the wise Arboreal guild. In modern times, it is open to all of | |||
those who would take the ideals and goals of the Khandava Council to heart. | |||
The protection of Nature is an important duty of the Khandava Council, along | |||
with a close vigil over those who would take advantage of its bounty. Knowledge | |||
and scholarship are valued greatly in Khandava, its most successful members | |||
having a great ability for mediation and political endeavors. | |||
