From a scroll describing the realm of Asaka, the Wild One, Goddess of the Wild:

The Wild One is the untamed Divine with a warm heart for the plants and animals of the Wild, and a deadly disposition for those who endanger the health of Her realm. The Asakii believe that within every living creature beats the heart of the Wilds. They rejoice in both the savage nature of a hunt and the nurturing soul of a mother. Asaka chooses to manifest Herself in the form of a young, athletic maiden no older than 16 years of age in mortal comprehension to reflect the importance of viewing Nature with the eyes of a child. Though all wild plants and animals are part of Her realm, she is most associated with the ferocious tiger, an animal capable of shredding its victims mercilessly and raising its young tenderly. The Celestial Tigress is a particular Being shrouded in much mystery who appears often to mortals, especially to supplicants of the Order, but the Tigress is never seen at the same time as the Wild Goddess. The Wild One is quite fond of the scent of wildflowers, especially the herb peppermint, and the great laurel bush whose branches are often a sign of victory.

History

In the Second Age, elves and lycaeans in the forest of Khandava were among the first followers of Asaka.

In the year 678 AD, the Demon God Erzabet provoked the ire of Asaka when she began to set fire to the forests of Celidon. The child-demon encouraged Aosoth to fight the Goddess, now in the form of a mighty tigress, and he answered her summons. In response, the Gods Cassiopeia, Epiphany, and Vahin arrived at Asaka's side, having previously formed an alliance with each other despite their differences. The battle grew to be one of the year's bloodiest, because the four Gods attracted the attention of the last of the four surviving Demons, Azaoz and Visyra.

Asaka summoned forth a massive amount of energy in the hope of slaying Erzabet and Aosoth, who were held in place by the forests themselves. But Aosoth outsmarted Asaka when he opened a portal within the council of Celidon, releasing a pack of demonic hounds that threatened the lives of Asaka's mortal followers. Asaka redirected Her power to destroy the portal, which allowed Azaoz the chance to kill Her.
