Lunar Stele

This giant piece of dark-grey rock at first glance appears to be granite, though upon closer inspection it is obviously formed from another alien material. Protruding nearly thirty feet from the ground and canted at an angle, the rock clearly extends below the surface in order to hold its massive bulk aloft. Covered in a series of spiderweb-like cracks, the dull grey surface is illuminated by a faint phosphorescence emanating from the deeper cracks on the surface. A faint covering of hoarfrost reaches up from the base of the spur towards the top, tapering off to nothing about halfway up. While not cold to the touch, those who remain in close proximity to the stone for long periods of time begin to feel an inexorable chill invade their bodies.

The Lunar Stele is located at the peak of the mountain in Demon's Pass, just before a rift between Aetherius and the Demon Plane.
