Capital City
The shining jewel of the desert, the capital city of Antioch stands as a beacon against the corrupting influences of Magick.
The Antiochians are led by the Shah, their chosen prophet, and guided also by the four other Mukhtar leaders. While the city council is democratically elected, these seats are often considered to be ceremonial positions held by influential members of each of the dominant Sects.
Guilds
The major guilds that play a dominant role in Antiochian society are:
* the Avengers,
* the Crusaders,
* the Wardancers, and
* the Dunestriders
Townes
The townes of Antioch include:
* Anhir
* Arkaskarr
* El'Jazira
* Tylaran
* Whistlerock
Diplomacy
The Antiochians hold a grudging respect for Ithaqua, the only forest council to abstain from Magick.
All other nation states are considered dangerous heretics, straining any temporary alliances that may form from time time.

Antioch was founded some 300 years after The Awakening. Two years earlier, in 298 AA., a group of pacifist Stavennites, led by Ardor Baely Natan and Yarl Din, grew quite uncomfortable with the aggressive stance of their City's leaders in the conflict to the north. They began to gather people in homes at night and talk to them about the need to change leadership. Stavenn had never been ruled by majority opinion but they hoped that if enough people were convinced that this might change. Over the course of a few months the number of supporters grew.
