The '''Tanari''' are the direct descendants of the ancient [[Caanae|Cannanites]]. They are the most numerous of the three human sub-races, and they can be found in nearly every corner of [[Imperian]]. The tanari race has been known to dabble in every aspect of culture, from the devout orders of the [[Gods|Divine]] to the perverse underworld of [[Demonic|demonic magick]].

 

The tanari were able to retain so many of the characteristics of early humans because of a movement to preserve the human race, led by a man named [[Jericho Geiger]] of [[Stavenn]]. He argued that the [[moons]] and [[magick]] were responsible for tainting and corrupting the "perfect" race, and those who supported him believed strongly in keeping their bloodline pure and free of any outside influences.
