Tonrar was born in the year 148 AM, after a cataclysmic explosion sent him hurtling across Aetherius before crash-landing in the Ithaquan Forest. He was the sixth Entity to be born in a relatively short period of time, beginning in the year 147 AM with the birth of Ilaria.
