Skillsets

Pyroglacia - Pyroglacia is the ability to command fire and water through magick, allowing the user to cast some of the most powerful magick available. As your main skillset, Pyroglacia not only allows for offensive abilities such as Lavaburst, but also useful utility and healing skills, such as walking on water or curing afflictions through purifying waters. Your main attacks and ability to combine spells also are in this skillset-- When sufficiently skilled in Pyroglacia, you are able to cast two spells at once, a more powerful primary spell and a lesser secondary sepll. Your first PvE ability, bloodboil, is also found in this skillset. Pyroglacia requires equilibrium to use.

Terratheria - The control of wind and earth are central to this magickal skill, and it allows the user to control the air to strike at a distance or to crush an enemy with the power of rock and earth. A mostly PvP based skillset, it is not without useful utilities, such as reflection, which will negate an attack, or sonicportal, which will allow you to create a portal to travel to another player. Flight and stoneskin are two other useful utilities, allowing you to fly and harden your skin like stone, heightening your defenses. With Terratheria, you may be able to cast your spells at a great distance through the power of air and inflict powerful effects on enemies. Terratheria requires equilibrium to use.

Crystalbinding - Crystalbinding allows a mage to summon a crystal that can store magickal energies to amplify their spells. Whether it be giving your enemy a few extra afflictions to deal with, quickening your spells, or allowing you to pummel an enemy with additional magickal force, crystalbinding is not a force to take lightly. Learning to manipulate the crystal will also allow the user to create useful sigils charged with various effects, from drawing people out from other planes to parting waters.

Combat Focus

Affliction/damage. Mage is a profession that deals heavy damage through their spells, strengthening their spells with stacked afflictions and something called 'attunements'. Thus, mage requires some thinking and understanding of afflictions to use properly. Attunements are used in order to enhance their spell abilities. For instance, the more fire spells you cast at an enemy, the more attuned they will be to fire, and the more attuned they are to fire, the more damage the majority of your fire spells will do. These attunements can be cured through herbs, just like any other affliction, and only take half the time of a regular affliction to cure. Thus, a mage must be conscious about what kind of spells they are applying to their target-- Since fire attunement is cured by orphine and knockout gives stupidity, cured by orphine, it would make sense to pair these two together. The mage can utilize many finishers depending on the attunement the opponent has most: Submerge for water, Lavaburst for fire, and Decompose for earth.
