The land of Aradia is one of the nine newbie areas in Imperian. This divided land is, like most newbie areas, a place where newbies may get to know the world of Imperian in safety.

Aradia offers numerous activities for aspiring adventurers such as truffle-hunting, shopping, questing and exploration. The denizens of Aradia are always in need of young adventurers willing to aid them.

Geography

Hidden amidst the Ravana Hills, the fertile land of Aradia is divided into 3 distinct subsections: The Fae village situated in Aradia's southern valley, the Zealot fortress located in the northern hills and the Bakul caves. Being a newbie area, Aradia is free of the demonic influence prevalent in the nearby Ravana Hills.

Culture

The land of Aradia is a paradox of peace and violence. The Anti-Magick Zealots and the pro-Magick Bakul are constantly at odds with one another, whilst the peace-loving Fae remain neutral. Both the Bakul and the Zealots make use of young adventurers in their eternal war against one another while the Fae often require the assistance of would-be heroes in helping collect the truffles which the local chef Pierre is famous for.

Flora and Fauna

As with most newbie areas, the land of Aradia has little to offer adventurer concoctionists in the way of herbs. The grassy hills in northern Aradia are populated primarily with maple trees and wildflowers along with a notable field of sunflowers growing all year round. Goats are known to roam the hills, infamous for their appetite for maps.

The southern valley of Aradia is home to oak and birch trees, wildflowers, rose bushes and multi-coloured mushrooms. Most famous of the local flora, however, are the black and white truffles used by the Fae chef Pierre. Butterflies and boars are a common sight within the valley, both in the Fae village and in the fields south of the village.
