The yellowish-grey fur of this wildcat is long and thick, but looks very soft, with dark stripes running vertically down the sides of the cat's body. The thick, square head is lined with a pair of dark stripes that extend from the eyes and over the head to behind the thick tufted ears. The thick whiskers frame a snarling face, with large teeth. The bushy tail ends in a long black bush, while the long legs of the wildcat end in impressively sharp looking claws.
