Gongen Mountains

The Gongen Mountains are a large and nearly impassable range of mountains that form the northeastern border of Kinsarmar and continue far to the southeast reaches of Aetherius. There are very few safe paths through the Gongens and the landscape doesn't support much life, but the Horde found it to be a suitable home for their armies in the Second Age, and it was from the Gongens that they launched their assaults first on Caanae and then later on the city of Kinsarmar.
