Living Mountain

The Living Mountain has spent most of its time hiding within the frozen northern tundra, past the great mountain range. It was not until the year 60 AM that it made itself known to the Western world of Aetherius.

When Norrix, the Patriarch of the asuwan, attempted to murder his wife, Niall's trusty protector Melkree, the citizens of the mountain united to fight against Norrix.

Niall quickly acted and removed his head, however, a strange power kept him alive and on the mountain. With the help of citizens of the Western world, his fate was decided. With their help, Niall was able to weaken her husband, thus killing him for good, returning the mountain to peace.

Melkree's body was then discovered and the mountain returned her to her home atop its head, allowing her to protect the asuwan and the mountain.

The asuwan and gargoyles are not the only two races that find their home there. There are the xiur, a proud race that has won a rather devastating war. They brought in the asuwan and gargoyles in their time of need, to help nourish and protect the mountain. Unfortunately, a group of miners have also found home within the mountain, as they search tirelessly for precious, and expensive, minerals.
